Once you have been accepted to Thomas Edison State University, you may enroll as a student and begin earning your degree immediately. To enroll, you will need to select a tuition plan. Most undergraduate students (excluding nursing, active duty military and corporate partners) select either the Comprehensive Tuition Plan or the Per Credit Tuition Plan.

You can select your tuition plan and pay tuition using either of these plans via Online Student Services. Once you complete this step, you will be an enrolled student for one full year and eligible to register for courses at enrolled student rates via Online Student Services.
Students are asked to use Online Student Services (OSS) to pay tuition via credit card, debit card or electronic checking. You may also pay your tuition by paper check or a money order via the U.S. mail or make a payment in-person with cash, check or money order made payable to Thomas Edison State University.
Developing Your Degree Program
As an enrolled student, you will benefit from a wide range of student services that will help you achieve your educational goals. Once you have selected a tuition plan and registered and paid for classes, you may schedule an appointment with an academic advisor to thoroughly review your evaluation and develop a degree program. During this important process, your advisor will work with you to develop a pathway that maps out how you will earn your degree.
Registering for Courses
As an enrolled student, you will have enhanced access to myEdison©, the University’s online course management system, which enables you access your courses. Students can register for courses online through Online Student Services or via U.S. mail with a check or money order. Please do not include credit card information when mailing your tuition payment to the University.

Enrollment Grace Period
All students are provided a thirty day grace period at the end of their current year of service. For example if their enrollment date is August 2, 2015 they have a thirty day grace period that ends on September 1, 2015.
The primary purpose of the grace period is to provide students completing their degrees with time to submit final grades or transcripts for the graduation audit. Students that will not complete their final courses during the grace period will be required to extend their enrollment.
If a student has not renewed or extended their Comprehensive Tuition Plan, or enrolled in a course or exam that will extend their active enrollment under one of the University's per credit tuition plans, he or she will become inactive at the end of the grace period. After a student is inactive they will be required to reapply to the University.
Change of Enrollment Plans
Students will be able to request a change to their enrollment plan, Comprehensive Tuition Plan, or Per Credit Tuition Plan, within ninety days from the start of their current year of service. The written requests must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once received the Office of Student Financial Accounts will change the enrollment plan and recalculate any tuition and fees if necessary.
