Those who complete appropriate undergraduate degrees at Thomas Edison State University and who pass the required certification content examination(s) such as the PRAXIS series are well prepared to enter teaching via the New Jersey Alternate Route Program or through completing a graduate-level teacher certification program at another institution. Graduates may also become employed as teachers in private school settings that do not require teacher certification.
