Master of Business Administration
An Accelerated, Online and Career-Focused MBA

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is a relevant and rigorous online graduate program that can be completed in about 15 months. Some courses include periodic live online participation at specific set times. All courses are offered in eight week formats, six terms per year and entry points which include January, March, May, July, September and November.

Preparing to Become a Business Professional
The MBA program prepares students for leadership roles in a wide range of industries. Students may select from the following areas of study: Accounting, Data Analytics, Finance, Healthcare Management, Human Resource Management or Marketing.
The MBA program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
Prerequisites: The graduate entrance exam is not required; however, on a case-by-case basis, the dean may require an applicant to submit GMAT scores. All MBA candidates are required to have completed undergraduate courses in the following topics: Financial Accounting, Statistics and Microeconomics or candidates can register for the Graduate Business Degree Preparatory Program that is scheduled prior to MBA entry terms. *Note: Organizational Research (ORR-7100) must be taken prior to the Management Capstone (MBA-7300).You cannot take them in the same term. Contact your academic advisor to register for both courses.
The MBA Program with an area of study in Accounting emphasizes both the theoretical understanding of emerging issues as well as an advanced curriculum of financial and managerial accounting. Additionally, Accountants must ensure that not only is the financial information accurate and timely reporting, but also that appropriate accounting systems are in place and in compliance with statutory regulations.
The Data Analytics area of study prepares students to access, analyze, manage and present data to an organization’s decision makers. The focus of the program is to prepare students to use data to identify marketing trends and develop strategies and tactics based on information.
The Finance area of study provides students with broad professional competence and skills that prepares them for careers at banks, financial institutions and firms in a wide variety of industry sectors.
The Healthcare Management area of study prepares students with management and critical thinking skills and an operational understanding of market trends, regulatory changes and financial realities currently facing the healthcare industry.
An area of study focused in Human Resource Management in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program provides students with unique opportunities in the marketplace. This area of study allows students to explore the strategic value that a human resource management professional creates for an organization. Students who complete this area of study will be qualified for advanced human resource management positions and prepared to integrate complex HRM functions with the strategic initiatives of the organization resulting in increased stakeholder value.
The Marketing area of study prepares graduates for careers in a wide variety of industry sectors, with courses focusing on generating awareness and demand for the products and services sold with an emphasis is on how media and the Internet can support such efforts.
