Responsible Conduct of Research

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Science Foundation (NSF), and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) require certain categories of researchers to receive Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training. RCR is increasingly viewed as an essential component of training, regardless of a researcher’s source of funding.

Students engaging in funded research must download and read the “RCR Primer for Participating in Funded Research” for the appropriate agency.

Once completed, students must sign and date the Certificate of Completion and forward it to the appropriate principal investigator of the project. The list below identifies the principal investigator and their email address for each funded project.
