TESU Introduces New 30-Credit Graduate Degrees to Expand Access, Affordability

Thomas Edison State University has introduced new 30-credit graduate degree programs in business, management and liberal studies, providing working professionals with more efficient and affordable pathways to advanced degrees.

The new degree programs include the Professional Master of Business Administration, Professional Master of Management and Master of Arts in Liberal Studies. These programs aim to meet the emerging needs of today’s students by increasing access and affordability while focusing on career-relevant content and applied learning.

“These programs have been thoughtfully designed to provide a focused, rigorous graduate education that meets the needs of today’s learners and employers,” said Dr. Merodie A. Hancock, president of Thomas Edison State University. “Our students will be able to earn valuable graduate degrees more efficiently while developing the knowledge and skills they need to advance in their careers.”

The Professional Master of Business Administration is designed for adult learners and professionals seeking to strengthen their business and management expertise. The program develops strategic thinking, leadership capabilities and an entrepreneurial orientation while preparing students to navigate complex business challenges, improve organizational and individual performance and communicate effectively.

The Professional Master of Management responds to the growing demand for accessible and accelerated graduate education for practicing professionals and recent graduates. The program focuses on strengthening management capabilities and addressing critical knowledge and skills gaps in today’s workforce while providing flexibility for students across a wide range of occupations.

The Master of Arts in Liberal Studies provides an interdisciplinary graduate education designed to strengthen critical thinking, communication, analysis and problem-solving skills. The degree aims to help professionals apply broad-based knowledge and adaptable skills to complex challenges across a range of industries and careers.

Additionally, the launch of these new degrees is paired with multiple accelerated master’s to doctorate degree tracks, reflecting Thomas Edison State University’s long-standing commitment to providing flexible, affordable and high-quality education for working professionals.
