TESU Named to Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honor Roll for Third Consecutive Year

Thomas Edison State University has been named to the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Transfer Honor Roll for the third consecutive year. The 2026 Transfer Honor Roll recognizes 275 four-year colleges and universities for their commitment to supporting community college transfer students.

The recognition is based on an evaluation of institutional practices across five dimensions identified by Phi Theta Kappa as central to community college transfer student success. The framework was developed through research and engagement with transfer students and university partners and examines more than 40 indicators across the transfer experience.

“Thomas Edison State University has a long history of serving students who continue their education after their studies at a community college,” said Jay Grady, undergraduate recruiting manager at TESU.  “This recognition reflects the University’s continued commitment to providing transfer students with clear pathways to degree completion and the academic support necessary to succeed.”

Rather than evaluating a single policy or practice, the Transfer Honor Roll framework considers how institutions support students throughout the transfer journey, including the processes and resources that influence students’ ability to transfer, enroll, persist and complete a bachelor’s degree.
