Why Not Celebrate All Weekend?

Thomas Edison State University’s Annual Commencement Ceremony will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024.

Commencement is a special time. It is the celebration of personal achievement. We hope you are planning to join us in Trenton for what will be a great day and want to give you a number of good reasons why you might want to consider making it a great weekend.

We look forward to seeing you to celebrate your new beginning and to explore Trenton’s historic past.

For your convenience, we include the following information for these sites:

The Trenton Visitor’s Center
102 Barrack St., across the street from the War Memorial at the corner of Lafayette and Barrack streets.
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The State House
125 W. State St.
Open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.;
First and third Saturday of each month, 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.;
Closed Sunday and state holidays.
Tours are free and run every hour on the hour.
The Old Barracks Museum
101 Barrack St., adjacent to the University on Barrack Street.
Open Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Admission: $10, adults; $8, seniors and students (age 6 and above) with ID; free for children (age 5 and under).
The 1719 William Trent House Museum
15 Market St., across from the Hughes Justice Complex.
Open Wednesday – Sunday, 12:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Closed holidays.
Admission: $5, adults; $4, students, seniors and children (age 12 and under).
New Jersey State Museum
