At Thomas Edison State University, online courses are one of many ways to earn credit and use approaches designed specifically with the adult learner in mind.
Thomas Edison State University’s online courses are vibrant, engaging classes you will access though myEdison®, our online course management system. The courses are guided by mentors on a 12-week timeline, and you will take proctored midterm and final exams via the Online Proctor Service (OPS).
Test Drive an Online Course
Interested in trying out an online course?
Use the following credentials to access the Test Drive course.
Username: testdrive
Password: Testdrive@1
You will receive a login ID and password by email before the course begins. Then, you will log in for your online classroom at a time and place that suits your schedule. Each course has a required number of times per week that students must log in (average is three times a week), but never at any set time. myEdison® uses the Moodle learning management system through which you will submit your assignments and have class discussions. You will find your interactions with your mentor and classmates to be lively and thoughtful—like actually being in a classroom together.
Information Sessions are held throughout the year and provide prospective students with the opportunity to meet University staff and learn more about the admissions process, financial aid, enrolling and what it is like taking an online course.
