Presidential Alumni Scholarship

The Presidential Alumni Scholarship is awarded to students who complete a baccalaureate degree at Thomas Edison State University. The $500 scholarship can be applied to two TESU graduate degree program courses at $250 per course.

Dr. HancockStudents who have applied and been accepted into the graduate program of their choice should fill out the scholarship form below.

Before you complete the application form, please note these guidelines:

  • Alumni who were awarded a baccalaureate degree by Thomas Edison State University in December, 2018 or March, June or September, 2019 are eligible to receive a $500 Presidential Alumni Scholarship. Each graduate is eligible to receive one Presidential Alumni Scholarship.
  • The Scholarship is for graduates to further their studies at Thomas Edison State University. It will be applied to the tuition for graduate online courses. The Scholarship must be used for enrollment in two courses, with half of the $500 Scholarship applied to each course.
  • A student must apply and be admitted to a graduate degree program at Thomas Edison State University, per standard admissions procedures. The Scholarship will be applied to a student's tuition after all other financial aid grant dollars and other non-loan aid have been applied. Refunds will not be given.
  • A student utilizing the Scholarship is required to submit the Scholarship award confirmation online in order for the funds to be applied to the student's account.
  • Participating students must register for their first graduate course by February 29, 2020, and for the second graduate course by May 15, 2020.
  • The Scholarship is not transferrable, and the University reserves the discretion to deny the application of the Scholarship for good cause.
  • If you are utilizing financial aid, the scholarship must be used within your financial aid award schedule.
  • If you withdraw from a course, the scholarship is forfeited and cannot be transferred to another term.
  • The scholarship cannot be applied to previous registrations.
  • The scholarship is only to be used for Thomas Edison State University online graduate courses.

Please indicate all courses for which you would like to register in the upcoming term below.

You will be sent a link from the Student Financial accounts office to make your final payment for these courses within 24 hours. Payment is required after the scholarship has been applied to your balance. Your registration will be confirmed by email.
