Heagley Appointed to Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

Mary Heagley, vice president for advancement and executive vice president of the TESU Foundation

Thomas Edison State University (TESU) proudly announces that Mary Heagley, vice president for advancement and executive vice president of the TESU Foundation, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce (PMRC).

In her new role, Heagley will join a distinguished group of business leaders on the Board of Directors, where she will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the PMRC. The Board is responsible for determining the mission and purpose of the organization, guiding it towards its goals, and defining its values and desired results. Additionally, the Board evaluates and refines the mission statement, providing guidance for the development of programs and policies aimed at achieving the PMRC’s objectives.

One of the crucial responsibilities of the Board of Directors is overseeing the financial and fiduciary operations of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce, ensuring the organization remains financially sound and aligned with its mission.

Upon the announcement of Heagley’s appointment, TESU President Merodie A. Hancock said, “We are thrilled to see Mary take on this important role with the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce. Her dedication to advancing the TESU Foundation mission and her leadership in the community make her an ideal candidate for this position. We are extremely excited to have Mary serve the business community and are looking forward to her contributions,” said Hal English, president and chief executive officer of the Chamber.
