Saeed Esmaili Sardari Appointed Associate Dean in the Heavin School at Thomas Edison State University

Saeed Esmaili Sardari has been appointed associate dean in the Heavin School of Arts, Sciences, and Technology at Thomas Edison State University.

In making the announcement, Dr. John O. Aje, dean of the Heavin School, said, “With Saeed’s appointment, Thomas Edison State University gains a very seasoned, highly successful educational leader. We are fortunate indeed to have been able to attract such a talented and committed professional to join the university in this important position. I am confident that Saeed’s skills and experience will serve the university well as we continue to provide innovative ways to fulfill the learning needs and goals of our adult students.”

Esmaili Sardari joins the University from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology in Harrisburg, Pa., where he served as program director for the Information Systems and Information Technology Program as well as an associate professor and program lead for the Computer and Information Sciences Program, the most popular undergraduate program at the university.

“Thomas Edison State University is a pioneer and leader in online education for adults,” said Esmaili Sardari, “and I am honored to undertake the vital role of associate dean as TESU navigates this increasingly competitive marketplace. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue advancing the mission of the university during this extraordinary time in the school’s history.”

Esmaili Sardari earned a PhD, MS and BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park.
