General Education Courses: Enrolled in 2015 or Before

In addition to TECEPs and courses, credit in general education areas may be earned through other non-college developed exams.

Effective July 1, 2013, general education courses are organized into four main categories. Some courses can be used to satisfy requirements in more than one category but each course may only be used once in a degree. You are encouraged to work with an academic advisor to plan your general education requirements.

  1. Intellectual and Practical Skills
  2. Personal & Social Responsibility
  3. Human Cultures and the Physical and Natural World
  4. General Education Electives
