Take the next step in expanding your career and help educate the next generation of nursing students as a nurse educator. Pursue jobs in academic or patient care settings with the Nurse Educator program at Thomas Edison State University (TESU). Our program helps you develop the necessary teaching skills to effectively instruct a new generation of nurses. A Nurse Educator Certificate is awarded in addition to the degree upon MSN program completion.
*Note: Completion of 100 on-ground, supervised hours is required in each Practicum course. Application for Practicum placement is submitted six months in advance. The Practicums must be taken consecutively at the same facility.
Please note: Graduate credits that were earned more than seven years prior to a student’s enrollment date may not be applied to either the MSN degree or certificate without the permission of the Dean of the W. Cary Edwards School of Nursing.
