Degree Requirements


The following courses are required for the AS degree program with an area of study in Aviation Maintenance Technology and can be fulfilled in either the General Education or Electives sections of the degree chart.

  • College Algebra (3 credits)
  • Physics I with Lab (4 credits)
  • Physics II with Lab (4 credits)

Certification: FAA Certificate as an Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic. Equivalent military training may be considered.

How Students Earn Credit in the Option: Students’ options are completed by the license, depending on the rating.
