Utilizing your UPS Benefits at Thomas Edison State University

How do you apply for UPS Education Assistance at TESU?


Applying for UPS Education Assistance is very simple. These steps must be completed within 30 days after the course start.

  1. Visit UPSers.com's Education Assistance Program page.
  2. Click the "Apply for Education Assistance here" under "Related Links."
  3. College counseling is offered under the Education Assistance Program by Thomas Edison State University at no cost.
  4. Apply for courses at "Apply for Education Assistance here." This is where you submit that you plan to attend TESU, which courses you are taking and the cost for those courses.
  5. Study hard!

Your benefits from UPS qualify for either reimbursement after your courses are completed, in which case you must pay your tuition and fees to the University up front when you register, OR a voucher to provide the University up front when you register.

UPS part-time union and non-union hourly employees qualify for reimbursement at the following locations only: Worldport, Louisville, KY; Chicago area, CACH-Hodgkins, IL; East Zone, Middletown, PA; Utah, Salt Lake City, UT; Rockford Air, Rockford, IL.

  • Application fee is waived at the time of application. Student must identify as a UPS employee at the time of application.
  • Students can register and pay for tuition and fees in full at the point of registration 24 hours a day using Online Student Services.
  • All tuition and fees must be paid in full at the point of registration to remain enrolled in the course(s) of your choice. If payment is not received, you will automatically be deregistered the next day.
  • Please note that you can now request receipts or term statements at any time through Online Student Services. If you need your statement after you have registered and paid for the semester, or after the end of the semester, you can request the receipt when you need it. When you request a term statement, remember to include your name, University ID, course name and date. You can expect a response within 72 hours.
  • You will be reimbursed by Edcor after the course ends when you submit a receipt and your grades to Edcor.
  • Students who withdraw late or fail to obtain a B- or better in a class (fall below program requirements), are responsible for paying the University any costs incurred for these or any other expenses that fall outside of program guidelines.
  • Per credit tuition rate is $325 per credit. This tuition is the contract rate determined by the University and your employer.
