Aviation Flight Technology

The Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with an area of study in Aviation Flight Technology is limited to professionally licensed commercial pilots who hold a minimum of Commercial and Instrument ratings (Airline Transport Pilot recommended). Equivalent military training may also be considered. A total of 18 Area of Study credits must be from 300/400 level courses. The degree is a 120-credit program.

  • Certification: FAA Certificate in Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, Instrument and Instructor rating. Equivalent military training may be considered
  • How Students Earn Credit in the Area of Study: Students’ areas of study are completed by the license, depending on the rating.

Note: Courses listed in the Area of Study are offered as a guide. Other courses may also be considered appropriate for the program. The inclusion of similar courses must be reviewed by the Evaluation team. Students must submit their program plan for review to ensure that course selection is appropriate for the degree.
