Area of Study (AOS) in Health Studies

The W. Cary Edwards School of Nursing and Health Professions’ Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with an Area of Study (AOS) in Health Studies is a 120-credit track designed for prospective students who are focused on expanding their education in the health professions or are interested in admission to our Accelerated BSN Program.

The Health Studies track is a transfer-friendly option for those who have already earned an associate degree and an ideal pathway for those who have already completed the AAS degree with an area of study in Applied Health Studies. Both the AAS and BS degree programs offer college credits for a wide variety of healthcare credentials licenses and certifications.
