The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Healthcare Management from Thomas Edison State University (TESU) is a 120-credit online degree program that will prepare you for a managerial or supervisory position in a medical or healthcare organization or governmental agency.

Learn how to ensure quality patient care through principles of healthcare management; explore legal and ethical considerations; and study the financing and economics of healthcare delivery. You will culminate your degree with a capstone project that integrates content from across the program and validates your knowledge of business policy.

Degree Requirements Credits
The following courses are required for the BS degree in Healthcare Management and are fulfilled in the General Education section of the degree chart. 6
  • College Algebra or Quantitative Business Analysis within Intellectual and Practical Skills section of General Education requirements.
  • Statistics within the Math section of General Education requirements.

It is strongly recommended that all BS/BSBA students, regardless of area of study, include a business ethics subject as part of the general education or electives component of their degree.
