Non-enrolled students who wish to try an online nursing course may take two courses prior to enrollment. Students must be enrolled by the end of the second nursing course to continue taking courses.

†Application fee is waived for Thomas Edison State University alumni. Students accepted into the program must make a non-refundable $500 deposit to confirm their space; the deposit is applied directly toward their first quarterly tuition payment.


  • All tuition and fees listed here were approved on June 11, 2021 by the Board of Trustees of Thomas Edison State University and are effective with registration for the August 2021 term. Tuition and fees are subject to change. Tuition and fees for courses and examinations for the nursing and general education requirements taken at other institutions are the student's responsibility.
  • Active duty military personnel who enroll in the W. Cary Edwards School of Nursing will pay the nursing tuition and fees.

Information Sessions are held throughout the year and provide prospective students with the opportunity to meet University staff and learn more about the admissions process, financial aid, enrolling and what it is like taking an online course.
