NOTE: The Residency Waiver fee is a one-time fee that only applies to students who do not earn at least 16 credits via the University’s Online (OL), Guided Study (GS) or e-Pack® (EP) courses before they complete their degree or undergraduate certificate. If a student pays the fee, and does not apply for graduation within 12 months, they will be required to pay additional residency waiver fees. It does not apply to students enrolled under the University's Comprehensive Tuition Plan.

Regardless of residence, military personnel have the option to pay New Jersey residency tuition, as long as they have selected and paid either the Per Credit Tuition Plan or Comprehensive Tuition Plan. Military Programs and related tuition and fees can be viewed here.

Note: All tuition costs listed here were approved on June 9, 2018 by the Board of Trustees of Thomas Edison State University and are effective July 1, 2018. Tuition and fees are subject to change.

*To be used by students who need additional time to complete course work or exams past the end date of the term. This fee cannot be used to extend enrollment and does not keep a student enrolled if the annual enrollment year has expired.
