  • Who are TESU’s programs designed for?

    TESU’s online programs are designed for adult-learners including active-duty service members, veterans, members of the National Guard and Reserve, and eligible military family members. Programs are structured to support students at different stages of service and transition, whether completing an undergraduate degree, pursuing graduate study or finishing a degree started elsewhere.

  • Can I continue my education while serving?

    Yes! TESU’s fully online programs are designed to accommodate the realities of military life, including deployments, relocations and changing schedules. Coursework can be completed remotely, allowing many service members to continue progressing toward their degree while serving.

  • How much credit can I receive for my military training and experience?

    TESU evaluates military training and experience for potential academic credit based on established guidelines, including recommendations from the American Council on Education (ACE) and official military transcripts such as Joint Services Transcripts (JST), the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and the Coast Guard Institute records.

    The number of credits awarded varies based on your training, documented experience and chosen degree program. Eligible credit may be applied toward degree requirements where appropriate.

  • Does TESU support military education benefits?

    Yes, TESU supports a range of military education benefits and tuition assistance programs.

    The University works with eligible students using programs such as Military Tuition Assistance (TA), GI Bill benefits and other approved funding sources. Dedicated military and veteran enrollment counselors are available to help guide students through the process.
