The Heavin School of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Education offers an interdisciplinary approach to lifelong learning for adult learners interested in exploring the values and insights inherent in the liberal arts, humanities, and social sciences. Our Bachelor of Arts degree programs provide a deep specialization in key areas of study while providing a broad foundation in general education.  

The Master of Arts in Educational Leadership program at TESU serves adults who wish to prepare for advanced roles as school and district leaders. The program is fully accredited through the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

The Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program provides competencies critical to personal and professional growth.  Students will explore a range of courses in various disciplines and are able to tailor the program to meet their needs and interests.

The Master of Arts in Educational Technology and Online Learning provides students with the in-demand skills to design and strategically incorporate technology and best practices into innovative learning experiences for K-12 schools, higher education, adult learners, nontraditional students and more.

The Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Professional Studies is designed for mid‑career and senior professionals seeking to advance their leadership and scholarly expertise in complex professional environments. The program integrates applied research, interdisciplinary perspectives, and practical inquiry to address real‑world challenges across organizations and educational settings. Graduates are prepared to lead innovation, inform practice, and contribute meaningful, practice‑based research grounded in their professional experience.

In addition, the School offers a variety of associate degrees, undergraduate certificates and graduate certificates to meet the needs of our students.
