Advising Appointment or Expressline
Work with an Academic Advisor
Applicants and newly admitted students who have received their academic evaluation as well as enrolled students are encouraged to work with the Academic Advising team during their tenure with the University. Our academic advisors assist students with reviewing their academic evaluation, understanding how their transfer credits apply to their new degree, learning about degree options, course requirements and planning the courses needed to complete their degree. Current students are encouraged to work with the Academic Advising team to maximize success throughout their educational experience.
Military and Veteran students work with their Enrollment Counselors to register for their first course(s). Your personal Academic Advisor will reach out to strategize your college career.
Advising Expressline
Students can call the Advising Expressline at (609) 777-5680, (Mon. – Fri.: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. ET), to reach an Academic Advisor quickly without the need for a formal appointment.
Military and Veteran students can call the Advising Expressline at (609) 777-5696, (Mon. – Fri.: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. ET), to reach an Academic Advisor quickly without the need for a formal appointment.
The Advising Expressline is best suited for questions that typically take less than 10 minutes and do not include area of study inquiries, such as:
- Assistance interpreting their academic evaluation
- Review of general education requirements and course options
- Free elective options
Advising Appointment
When students need more formal advising beyond what is provided on the Advising Expressline, they should schedule an appointment. During the 30 minute appointment, more in- depth questions pertaining to the area of study can be answered, along with any other Advising related issues.
The University’s online appointment scheduling system provides students with the capability to make appointments with Academic and Nursing Advisors. Appointments are available by phone, video, or in person.
