Call for Papers

The Journal of Women and Minorities in Technology, a publication of the School of Applied Science and Technology, Thomas Edison State University, is an open access peer-reviewed journal that encourages a variety of submissions from individuals, faculty, staff, administrators, students, practitioners, consultants, vendors and professionals in the areas of aviation, nuclear technology, cybersecurity and information technology who are interested in providing information on policy, technology, education, soft skills, and training to perform successfully in the field of technology, with a special emphasis on women and minorities.

Submissions of all types including interdisciplinary research, critical issues, current trends, conceptual and empirical based research, new programs, promising practice, policy and practice-based research, experience sharing and strategies for career success and mentoring for women and minorities are encouraged.

The intended audience includes government, industry, military, and academic (faculty and students) sectors with a need to increase knowledge in the technology disciplines and in the area of women and minorities in technology.

All articles in the Journal of Women and Minorities in Technology undergo a rigorous peer review, based on initial screening by an editor and an anonymous review by at least two anonymous referees.

Full manuscripts with a minimum three pages (2,500 words) and a maximum of 10 pages (8,000 words) should be submitted. Manuscripts should be submitted in block style, double spaced, aligned to the left with indented paragraphs. Author and co-author names, affiliations, email and phone contacts should be included beneath the title. Each manuscript must be prepared in Microsoft Word and submitted with necessary graphics, citations and references in accordance with the APA 6th edition format. A brief biography of 50 words or less should be included.

Manuscripts should be original, previously unpublished papers, which are not under consideration for publication to any other journal. Articles submitted using the form below must conform to the journal submission guidelines. Please email JWMT@tesu.edu with any questions.
