For Students

One of the hallmarks of programs offered by the School of Applied Sciences and Technology is the ability to work with adult students who possess technical training and professional licenses and certifications and find a program that allows them to earn credit for what they have learned outside the traditional classroom.  For many, this is military training or licenses and certifications required for their job.

We also help students determine if they are a candidate to earn credit for prior learning assessment. This includes credit-by-exam programs, such as CLEP®, DSST® and our own TECEP® program, as well portfolio assessment, where students work with a mentor to demonstrate that they possess college-level knowledge that is equivalent to what they would have learned in a college course.

Lastly, we connect students with scholarship opportunities.
