Women and Minorities in Technology

Welcome to Women and Minorities in Technology

The field of technology is rapidly expanding and offers great opportunities for everyone, but especially for women and minorities who are actively being recruited by organizations across the country.

There is a huge demand for skilled  technology professionals, yet countless positions remain unfilled due to the lack of well trained and educated individuals to fill those vacant seats. Institutions such as Thomas Edison State University are working hard to fill the pipeline with individuals who meet the growing need for a skilled workforce. Welcome and good luck in your career!

The purpose of this website is to provide information of interest to women and minorities to assist you and guide you towards a successful career in technology.  At Thomas Edison State University (TESU) there are four distinct areas of study in technology:

For detailed information about these specific programs please go visit the School of Applied Science and Technology.

While the school website will provide you with valuable information about the specific programs, this section is geared towards promoting women and minorities in the technology fields and will assist you in your career goals. Here you will find informative webinars, podcasts, blogs, and a helpful ‘coach’s corner’ where you can ask questions about technology and receive answers from our in-house experts. The site will work on a rotational basis, with one of the four fields of technology being highlighted each month. You will find the information on this evolving and expanding site extremely useful. Welcome to the field of technology!
