Accelerated 2nd Degree BSN Program (BSNA)

This 12-month Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program is designed for adults who have already completed a bachelor's degree (non-nursing) and are interested in becoming registered nurses.

It is an intense, full-time program that prepares graduates for the National council Licensure Exam for RNs (NCLEX) as well as employment in nursing upon graduation.

Program Highlights
  • Hybrid program with online and on-campus courses.
  • On-campus courses are held at Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, New Jersey (free parking available).
  • Clinical experiences are held at several facilities in the local New Jersey area.
  • Program offered in four 12-week terms.
  • Students also take 9 graduate credits during the course of the program which can then be applied toward a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
Tuition

Tuition is $38,250, made in quarterly payments. Students accepted into the program must make a $500 non-refundable deposit within one week of acceptance to confirm their space; the deposit is applied directly toward their first quarterly tuition payment.

NOTE: All tuition and fees listed here were approved on June 7, 2019 by the Board of Trustees of Thomas Edison State University and are effective with registration for the August 2019 term. Tuition and fees are subject to change. Tuition and fees for courses and examinations for the nursing and general education requirements taken at other institutions will be the student's responsibility.
