The Accelerated 2nd Degree BSN Program at Thomas Edison State University in New Jersey is a 12-month Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program designed for adults who have earned a bachelor's degree (non-nursing) completed prior to acceptance and who are interested in becoming registered nurses. This is an intense, full-time program that prepares graduates for the National Council Licensure Exam for RNs (NCLEX). Due to the rigorous nature of this full-time program, outside employment is strongly discouraged.
Tuition is $37,354, made in quarterly payments. Students are billed in four quarterly installments. Students accepted into the program must make a $500 non-refundable deposit within two weeks of acceptance to confirm their space; the deposit is applied directly toward their first quarterly tuition payment.
NOTE: All tuition and fees listed here were approved in June 2016, by the Board of Trustees of Thomas Edison State University and are effective July 1, 2016. Tuition and fees are subject to change. Tuition and fees for courses and examinations for the nursing and general education requirements taken at other institutions will be the student's responsibility.
Financial aid is available for our Accelerated 2nd Degree BSN Program. Financial aid packages are available after being admitted into the program.
