The Board of Directors of TESU’s chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society inducted five students from the W. Cary Edwards School of Nursing and Health Professions’ Accelerated BSN program into its Upsilon Rho chapter this year. Members inducted include Rachel Stubbs, Noah Karasik-Tiewski, James Everett, Megan Enright and Christopher Donegan.

Sigma is an international community of nurses dedicated to the advancement of knowledge, teaching, learning and service through the cultivation of communities of practice, education and research. The organization aims to improve health worldwide. Sigma recognizes superior academic achievement and the development of leadership qualities, fosters high professional standards, encourages creative work and strengthens commitment to the ideals and purposes of the nursing profession. TESU’s Upsilon Rho chapter was chartered in 2008.
