Practicum Packet Update for MSN Students
Please be advised that the Practicum Packet has been updated to reflect the new writeable forms. All submissions will now be done electronically through these links to firstname.lastname@example.org. All approval/denial and follow-up communications will take place through this email address as well.
Two Practicums are included in each area of specialty offered in the MSN degree. To prepare for the Practicum students must read and access the Practicum Packet in the year prior to the anticipated start date of the Practicum. The Intent to Register Form (Part A) must be submitted six months (24 weeks) prior to the start of the Practicum for which students wish to register. After initial practicum approval students must then submit the Project Proposal Form (Part B), the Delineation of Responsibilities Form, and complete all the Health and Safety requirements as outlined in the Practicum Packet. These forms and documents must be submitted three months (12 weeks) prior to the start of the first Practicum course.
An updated resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV) must be uploaded into all students’ e-Portfolios, and a copy must be submitted with the initial practicum paperwork. A sample resume and sample CV have been provided.
