Utilizing your UPS Benefits at Thomas Edison State University

How do you apply for UPS Education Assistance to utilize at Thomas Edison State University?

To apply for UPS Education Assistance is very simple. This must be completed within 30 days after the course start.

  1. Visit UPSers.com Education Assistance Program page
  2. Click the link “Apply for Education Assistance here” under related links.
  3. College Counseling is offered under the Education Assistance Program by Thomas Edison State University at no cost.
  4. Apply for courses on the link “Apply for Education Assistance here.” This is where you submit which school you plan to attend- TESU, which courses you are taking and the cost for those courses.
  5. Study hard!

Your benefits from UPS qualify for either reimbursement after your courses are completed in which case you must pay your tuition and fees to the University up front when you register OR a voucher to provide the University up front when you register.

How do you know which payment type you qualify for: reimbursement or voucher?

UPS part-time union and non union hourly employees qualify for reimbursement.

  • Students can register and pay for tuition and fees in full at the point of registration 24 hours a day using Online Student Services.
  • Please note that you can now request receipts or term statements at any time through Online Student Services. If you need your statement after you have registered and paid for the semester, or after the end of the semester you can request the receipt when you need it. Please use this link to learn the steps.
  • The voucher must be received 24 hours after enrolling into the course in order for you to remain enrolled in the course.
  • After the end of the term, course information and grades must be submitted to Edcor and approved within 60 days of term end date to receive payment.
  • Students who withdraw late or fail a class (fall below program requirements), are responsible for paying the school (TESU) any cost incurred for these or any other expenses that fall outside of program guidelines.
  • If you need an invoice for your voucher, visit Generating Term Statements. Remember to include your name, University ID, course name and date. You should expect a response within 72 hours. You may request a receipt any time after you register for your course.
  • Per credit tuition rate is $318 per credit. This tuition is the contract rate determined by the University and your employer.

UPS part-time management employees qualify for the tuition voucher program ONLY.

  • Students pay upfront for their application fee.
  • Students can register 24 hours a day using Online Student Services.
  • The voucher is your upfront payment for course enrollments.
  • Once you apply for and receive your tuition voucher from Edcor, use the corporate voucher form* to upload your corporate voucher.
  • The voucher must be received 24 hours after enrolling into the course in order for you to remain enrolled in the course.
  • If you need an invoice for your voucher, visit Generating Term Statements. Remember to include your name, University ID, course name and date. You should expect a response within 72 hours. You may request a receipt any time after you register for your course.
  • Per credit tuition rate is $318 per credit. This tuition is the contract rate determined by the University and your employer.

UPS Full-time non-union employees qualify for 100% tuition reimbursement.

  • Students can register and pay for tuition and fees in full at the point of registration 24 hours a day using Online Student Services.
  • All tuition and fees must be paid in full at point of registration to remain enrolled in the course(s) of your choice. If payment is not received, you will automatically be deregistered the next day.
  • Per credit tuition rate is $318 per credit. This tuition is the contract rate determined by the University and your employer.
  • You will be reimbursed by Edcor after the course ends when you submit a receipt and your grade to Edcor at https://ups.tap.edcor.com
  • If you need a receipt for reimbursement, visit Generating Term Statements. Remember to include your name, University ID, course name and date. You should expect a response within 72 hours. You may request a receipt any time after you register for your course.
