The John S. Watson Institute of Public Policy and several of its functions have relocated to Kean University. Thomas Edison State University is very proud of its role in establishing the John S. Watson Institute for Public Policy 25 years ago and in providing support for all of its partnerships and projects throughout its history. TESU looks forward to opportunities to foster and celebrate the Watson Institute’s work in the future. Thomas Edison State University remains steadfast in its commitment to public service and to supporting the Trenton community. The University fully embraces its role as the anchor institution for Trenton and to working with its partners to strengthen the Capital City. This work continues as a major focus for the University as managed by the Division of Community and Government Affairs, as well as through the ongoing academic and outreach programs of the John S. Watson School of Public Service. We look forward to engaging the University’s stakeholders in a strategic planning process for the Watson School to reimagine its work, strengthen its emphasis on student and community engagement, and support its growth.
