How to Get Started

1. Determine Your Goals + Select a Program
   Once you understand why you want to advance your education, you can select a program that is aligned with those goals. For help selecting a program aligned with your goals, contact us today. Explore the links below to learn more about our programs:

2. Think About Your Transfer Credit + Prior Learning
   This includes credits earned at other regionally accredited institutions, professional and military training, including licenses and certifications, credit-by-exam programs you have passed, and college-level knowledge you have gained in your career.

3. Apply and Transfer Your Credit
   Once you select a program and identified potential sources of transfer credit, you are ready to apply.

To apply, follow these instructions before you Start Your Application.

Online Account: Once admitted, Get Started by creating your Online Student Services account.

Select the “Create Account” link and provide your contact information

Select “TESU Online Application” to complete the process

• IMPORTANT: In the Partner Affiliation section of the application, select American Red Cross from the drop down menu

Submit Transcripts at get your academic evaluation.

• IMPORTANT: Have transcripts from other regionally accredited schools, military and professional training (JST, ACE transcripts), CLEP and DSST scores, etc. sent directly to TESU from those organizations.  Learn more about submitting these items »

What is a TESU Academic Evaluation?

Your official TESU academic evaluation tells you how your transfer credits will be applied to your degree, how many credits you will need to finish your degree and which courses/credits you still need to complete to earn your degree. Learn more »
