BSNA Program Details FAQs

The program has two start dates each year: one in May and one in September. The program takes 15 months to complete and is offered in eight 8-week terms.

Due to the rigorous and accelerated nature of this program, students are strongly discouraged from working or maintaining any employment while completing this program.

The program is divided into three educational components: Class, Clinical/Lab, and Online Coursework.

  • With the exception of the first term, two days a week will be devoted to in-person learning activities on campus in Trenton, New Jersey, from about 9:00am to 5:00pm.
  • One day a week will be devoted to clinical/simulation lab experiences which can be up to a 12-hour shift.
  • Sometimes an additional day of class time or clinical/simulation time will be necessary.
  • Students are responsible for completing online coursework (readings, videos, class prep, discussion forum posts, assignments) on their own time.
