The NCPACE program allows eligible students to continue their education while deployed and without reliable, consistent Internet access

You are required to register 30 days prior to Term start date!

To enroll in NCPACE Courses:

    Please note there is a non-refundable $75 application fee, which is not covered by Tuition Assistance.

    • The Application Fee is now being waived for all Military affiliated students!

    Submit official copies of your Joint Services Transcript as well as notarized copies of licenses and/or certificates.

  • Review/Complete Steps Required by Navy Voluntary Education

    Navy College will determine sailor’s eligibility for NCPACE. Please review the NCPACE DL Distance Learning Steps.

    A required element is an Education Plan. Once you apply to TESU, you will have access to your Online Student Services account. You can find your Academic Evaluation under the Academic Profile.

    APS-402 Applied Quality Management
    BIO-208: Science of Nutrition
    EAS-201: The Science of Natural Disasters
    ENG-201: Technical Writing
    Advisory: Students should have successfully completed English Composition I and II prior to enrolling. Students cannot earn credit for both ENG-201 and ENG-202.
    HIS-301: African History and Culture
    Advisory: This is an upper-level course. Students should have knowledge equivalent to an introductory history course.
    HIS-356: War and American Society
    Advisory: This is an upper-level course. Students should have knowledge equivalent to an introductory history course.
    MAN-331: Human Resources Management
    Advisory: It is advisable to have knowledge in a course equivalent to MAN-301 Principles of Management with a grade of C or better to succeed in this course. Students are responsible for making sure that they have the necessary knowledge.
    MAN-435: Project Management
    PHI-384: Ethics and the Business Professional
    Advisory: This is an upper-level philosophy course. Students should have knowledge equivalent to an introductory philosophy course before enrolling.
    PSY-300: Thanatology: An Understanding of Death and Dying
    Advisory: This is an upper-level course. Students should have knowledge equivalent to an introductory psychology course.
    PSY-352: Psychology of Personality
    Advisory: This is an upper-level course. Students should have knowledge equivalent to an introductory psychology course.
  • Choose NCPACE Term

    Registration is available no more than 6 months and no less than 30 days prior to start date. NCPACE terms start every month on the 1st of the month beginning February 2018.

    Please choose the term that best suits your schedule. Courses are designed to be 12 weeks in length.

    April 2018 Registration window: 2/1/18 - 3/2/18

    Term Start: 4/1/18

    Term End: 6/24/2018

    June 2018 Registration window: 4/1/18-5/2/18

  • Secure Proctor for Exams

    The proctor is mailed the exam materials and is responsible for keeping materials secure, administering exams and mailing (postage paid) course materials back to TESU (postage paid).

    The proctor must be a neutral third party with no on-going relationship to the student this individual must also hold a position of responsibility and have no conflict of interest with either student or TESU. Acceptable as Proctors: Commissioned officers (senior to the student in rank) with no direct supervisory relationship to the student. Additional options: Test Control Officers (TCO), Education Services Officers (ESO), Career Counselors, Base Librarians, Chaplains

    Please note: Proctor listed on TA document must match the Proctor listed on the TESU NCPACE Course Registration Form.

    TESU requires a copy of the approved voucher at time of registration.

  • Register for NCPACE Course

    NCPACE courses must register HERE. The courses are not offered through Online Student Services Registration.

    Before completing this Registration Form, you must:

    • Apply to the University and have a Student ID
    • Complete an Education plan with NCO/NCVEC counselor
    • Complete the NCPACE DL Application (Tuition Assistance Request)
    • Have an approved TA voucher
  • Order Course Materials

    Course materials are NOT covered by Tuition Assistance. Please visit TESU’s Online bookstore to order required materials.

  • Download Course Content

    Once you are registered, you will be directed to download the course content located on a Moodle course page via the myEdison student portal. The course content is designed to be completed without internet; however the course items must be downloaded prior to deployment/internet non-connectivity.
