BSBA in Entrepreneurship

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree program in Entrepreneurship is a 120-credit program. It focuses on developing management and financial skills.

Students in the BSBA in Entrepreneurship program learn how to:

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities
  • Secure funding
  • Organize and manage functional business areas such as manufacturing, marketing, accounting and finance

All students must complete a capstone requirement, Strategic Management, which integrates content across the degree program and validates the students’ knowledge.  

Degree Requirements Credits
The following courses are required for the BSBA degree in Entrepreneurship and are fulfilled in the General Education section of the degree chart. 6
  • College Algebra or Quantitative Business Analysis within Intellectual and Practical Skills section of General Education requirements.

  • How Students Earn Credit in the Area of Study: All credits in this area of study may be completed with Thomas Edison State University courses and/or exams.

Note 5: Managerial Finance has a prerequisite of the BSBA CORE requirement in Principles of Finance.

IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT ALL BSBA STUDENTS, REGARDLESS OF AREA OF STUDY, INCLUDE A BUSINESS ETHICS SUBJECT AS PART OF THE GENERAL EDUCATION OR ELECTIVES COMPONENT OF THEIR DEGREE.
