About the School of Applied Science and Technology

The School of Applied Science and Technology offers innovative degree programs and certificates that meet the educational and career needs of adult learners who work in environments that benefit from technical currency, practical knowledge and applied skills.

The School’s flexible, convenient programs enable students to earn credit for technical expertise they have developed outside the classroom and gain the competencies required for advancement in the fields of the applied sciences and technology.

Our Accreditations

Thomas Edison State University's Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electronics Systems Engineering Technology is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission(s) of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the General Criteria and the Electrical/Electronic(s) Engineering Technology and Similarly Named Programs Program Criteria. Also, The Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nuclear Energy Engineering Technology is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission(s) of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the General Criteria and the Nuclear Engineering Technology and Similarly Named Programs Program Criteria.

Thomas Edison State University's associate degree program and undergraduate certificate in Polysomnography was awarded initial accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). The initial accreditation status is valid from March 16, 2012 until March 31, 2017.
