  • DBCs spend anywhere from 1-4 hours reaching out to members of their digital blocks through text and phone calls.
  • The community members of their digital blocks get a wellness check, action alert, links to resources or invites to virtual events based on what is going on each week.
  • Community Captains spend up to 32 hours a week doing broad outreach to the community via cold call and texts.
  • Help plan our twice a month, Community Coming Together Calls, and running check-ins with Digital Block Captains.
  • This schedule is extremely flexible based on hours of availability. Our volunteers typically commit to 4 or 5 hours a week and our fellows work anywhere from 10-32 hours a week.
  • Inter/intra personal communication skills as well as telephone/ on-line communication skills and platforms for stakeholders.
  • Ability to network and connect with current stakeholders as well as recruit/outreach engage new/current stakeholders
  • Weekly check-in with site supervisors as well as trouble shooting
  • Experience working with social media platforms ( Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and phone banking experience, a plus.
