Assist in teaching workshops in a 4-H Short-Term Exploratory Clubs (4-H STEP clubs). Right now it is virtually (using Zoom), but hopefully will be in-person at some point.

  • Research and outreach virtual/remote 4-H and other curriculum for youth participants
  • Ability and/or interest to assist with teaching the 4-H members (grades 1-6) using the virtual platform if still in quarantine. In person teaching if possible.
  • Experience with social media platforms and content development
  • Workshop/Course development, assessment and evaluation
  • Ability to research innovative and strategic stakeholder engagement
  • Weekly check-in with site supervisors as well as trouble shooting
  • Experience working with Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Zoom, Webex, and Canvas

Assistant Coach for the 4-H/Middle Earth Student Ambassadors for Community Health Club – focus on Mental Health and Wellness (2020). Candidate should have an interest or experience in mental wellness, ability to connect group with mental health related resources, interest in or experience with community service initiatives and how to do both virtually.

  • Ability to support and continuing the work of the 4-H/Middle Earth Student Ambassadors for Community Health (this is a teen group, grades 10-13)
  • Assist them in designing and planning their yearly project. For 2020 it focuses on Mental Health
  • Assist them in designing a Mental Health Website and other online presences through social media and blogs
  • Assist in Promotion and advertising to communities – new participants and past participants/stakeholders from the community
  • Communication skills necessary to promote and outreach to community
  • Develop assessment tools such as surveys and questionnaires

Assistant Coach with the 4-H Senior Council. This is a teen club that focuses on developing leadership skills, teambuilding, and public speaking.

  • Ability and/or interest to assist with leading leadership and teambuilding activities with 4-H members (grades 8-13) using the virtual platform (if still on quarantine). In person when possible.
