Earn Credit for Your UPS Hub Supervisor Training School for full-time employees!

Have you completed UPS’ Hub Supervisor Training School for full-time employees?

Congratulations! Thomas Edison State University has recently evaluated this training for college-level credit. If you have completed this training program since May 2012, you may be awarded twelve (12) credits toward an undergraduate degree or certificate.

UPS employees who have completed this training program will receive:

  • 3 undergraduate credits in Logistics (OPM-224)
  • 3 undergraduate credits in Principles of Management (MAN-210)
  • 3 undergraduate credits in Principles of Supervision (MAN-201)
  • 3 undergraduate credits in Introduction to Business Communications (COM-202)

UPS updated the HSTS in May 2012.

If you completed the HSTS program between June 1998 and April 2012, you may be awarded nine (9) credits:

  • 3 undergraduate credits in Business Communications (COM-300)
  • 3 undergraduate credits in Introduction to Applied Supervision (MAN-201)
  • 3 undergraduate credits in Introduction to Management (MAN-301)

In order to be awarded these credits, you must apply and enroll at Thomas Edison State University. After you apply, you should email edadmin@ups.com. UPS will certify your completion of the course within the appropriate timeframe and provide certification to Thomas Edison State University.

How do these credits fulfill the Certificate in Operations Management?

The three (3) credits associated with the Introduction to Management (MAN-301) course will fulfill one course requirement in the Operations Management Certificate. Learn more.

How do these credits fulfill requirements for undergraduate degree programs?

All nine (9) credits awarded by the completion of the Hub Supervisor Training School for full-time employees will fulfill degree requirements for Thomas Edison State University's associate and bachelors degree programs.
