TECEP® and PLA Tuition

- TECEP® Tuition
- Lower Level TECEP Exams (1000-2000): $52 per credit registered
- Upper Level TECEP Exams (3000-4000): $77 per credit registered
- Undergraduate Portfolio Assessment fee (PLA 1010 – 3 Credits)*
- Per Credit Rate for PLA 1010:
- New Jersey Residents: $419
- Out-of-State Residents: $545
- Visiting Students: $572
- *Within PLA 1010, students may earn up to 12 credits of portfolio assessment at no additional cost.
Portfolios are not registered until completed and uploaded, and registration is requested through the PLA office. - Single Undergraduate/Graduate Course, 12-week PLA Tuition*
- Matriculated: $183 per credit attempted
- Visiting: $252 per credit attempted
- Graduate: $245 per credit attempted
* Only available based on specific criteria - please contact the PLA office with questions.
Note: All tuition and fees listed here were approved on June 9, 2023, by the Board of Trustees of Thomas Edison State University and are effective for the August 2023 term. Tuition and fees are subject to change.
