At Thomas Edison State University, earn your degree wherever and whenever you want, such as in the comfort of your home, your office or even while deployed. There is no on-campus residency requirement and no classroom attendance is required, so programs fit around your schedule.

You need flexibility.

Thomas Edison State University offers 12 week online and guided study courses.

You have earned credit for what you already know.

Thomas Edison State University is a national leader in assessing and awarding credit for college-level learning acquired outside the classroom, such as professional licenses, certifications, College- Level Examination Program (CLEP) and DSST. Most importantly, TESU offers a credit-transfer policy that honors your military experience.

You have earned an affordable education.

Thomas Edison State University offers active duty, guard and reserve servicemembers, their families and DoD employees a discounted tuition rate at $250 per credit for all undergraduate programs, with the exception of the undergraduate nursing program.

If you plan to use Military Tuition Assistance (TA), it is critical that you have received approval from an Education Services Officer (ESO) or counselor within your respective service, prior to enrolling in courses.

Thomas Edison State University is a participating institution with the Department of Defense Voluntary Education Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (DoD MOU).
