Medical Imaging

The Associate in Science degree program with an area of study in Medical Imaging is designed for registered or licensed radiographers. Students must be registered as a radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or possess New Jersey state license to enter the program. The program enables mid-career adults to meet their educational and professional needs through credit transfer and course completion. The 60-credit program also positions graduates to transition to a TESU bachelor’s degree program.

Degree Requirements Credits
The following courses are required for the AS degree program with an area of study in Medical Imaging and can be fulfilled in either the General Education or Electives sections of the degree chart. 11
  • College Algebra

  • Physics I with Lab

  • Anatomy & Physiology I with Lab

  • Certification: ARRT RT(R) or NJ license NJ-LRT(R) copy or original certification and current renewal card
  • How Students Earn Credit in the Option: License (earned after 1980) provides the credits necessary in the option
