Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management

The Bachelor Science in Health Information Management program is a joint degree program offered in partnership with the Rutgers School of Health Professions. The program is designed to provide knowledge and skills for health information professionals, including information policies, planning, budgeting, quality assurance, liaison to medical professions, statistical analysis, regulatory compliance, code diagnoses and management. The content is based on the accreditation standards of the Commission on Accreditation of Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) so that the graduate can pass the national registry examination as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
