Electrical Technology

The Associate in Science degree program with an area of study in Electrical Technology is designed for electricians and electrical power or machinery workers. Courses in general electronics as well as electrical fields are included. The degree is a 60-credit program.

Degree Requirements Credits
The following courses are required for the AS degree program with an area of study in Electrical Technology and can be fulfilled in either the General Education or Electives sections of the degree chart. 14

  • How Students Earn Credit in the Option: The option may be completed using independent study and distance education course from other universities

Note: Courses listed in the Area of Study are offered as a guide. Other courses may also be considered appropriate for the program. The inclusion of similar courses must be reviewed by the Evaluation team. Students must submit their program plan for review to ensure that course selection is appropriate for the degree.
